My role Experiential Art Director
Project Summary An experiential lobby display across 4 large screens that told the BGC3 impact story through a series of dynamic modules. The modules could be customized for a visitor, or trending topic.
Personas Bill Gates, Investors in BGC3, BGC3 Employees, Influencers
The challenge Create a dynamic experiential lobby display for those visiting the offices of one of the most powerful and influential people in the world. Tell a story with each dynamic module of what a great impact BGC3 has around the world, and what is on the mind of Bill Gates.
Solution When a visitor first steps off the elevators up to the BGC3 lobby they are greeted with a stunning and informative display across 4 large screens working together to dynamically show one of several modules. Each module tells a curated story of BGC3’s global impact. A digital API feeds these modules with information such as: current stories in the press, what’s trending on twitter, what part of the world is BGC3 in right now, or a quick overview of what’s happening for Bill Gates today. By introducing a visitor with these topics and stories, a visitor is focusing on what matters most to BGC3, not on how nervous or intimidated they might feel. Because, for Bill Gates, it’s not about telling a visitor how important he is, but how important they are to the global impact of BGC3.
Results While there are a select few that get the pleasure of viewing this experiential display in person. This seemingly small project gets more positive feedback and interest every time I share it. It just goes to show, even small projects have a great impact.
